OLIVE EGGERS F1 & ON

Here at Cross B Hens N Heifers we work with Black Copper Marans, Penedesencas, and Cream Legbars. This allows us to have Marsbars and Penbars as F1 Olive Eggers, which usually all have crests due to their Cream Legbar blood. 
F1 stands for "filial generation 1". In simple terms it means a First Generation Hybrid Cross. F1s in the Olive Egger projects will always produce an Olive colored egg.
Then you can either breed back to a parent breed or breed to an Olive Egger of any generation to keep creating hens and pullets that will have varying shades of eggs.
